Institute Quality Systems

The Institute Quality Systems (IQS) Department has more than 25 years experience in providing quality assurance consultation, audit, surveillance, and training services for U.S. and international customers. Teams of quality engineers, technologists, and certified auditors with experience from a wide variety of industries and government agencies assist the technical divisions in implementing quality systems, corrective and preventive actions and monitoring the various activities to assure compliance with contractual requirements.

Our quality program is fully documented in the Southwest Research Institute Quality System Manual, Revision 3 (Portable Document Format file/Adobe Acrobat Reader required) and in operating procedures that have been audited and approved by outside agencies to verify the effectiveness of their implementation. Our current nuclear quality program is documented in the Program Quality Plan, Program Quality Plan (PQP) - Nuclear, Revision 2.
